Corel Suite to Be Removed

The ACES Academic Computing Facility will be removing the Corel Suite from our computers. Corel is over ten years old and does not support the modern file formats that our users are familiar with.

We have been tracking the Corel Suite's use over the past few months and have seen little usage. Over the summer Adobe CS3 was installed. We feel that this program better meets the needs of our users.

For these reasons, the Corel Suite will soon be removed from all of the computers in the Academic Computing Facility.
